The Moistest Chocolate Mug Cake - Review

The moistest chocolate mug cake you will ever have! It's not spongy like other mug cakes! Recipe on tablefortwoblog.comI found this treasure on Pinterest not too long ago and made it just last night.

I was craving delicious chocolate, but my husband was full and did not want a treat, so together we made just me a treat! :) He is the best.

I did not add the chocolate spread (it would have been Nutella if I did) on the top because I was in the mood for vanilla ice cream on the top! It took only about 45 seconds in my microwave and tasted great with the ice cream on top!
However, I would not say this is the most moist mug cake I have ever tried. Without the ice cream it would have been pretty dry. I guess that's why you need the chocolate spread added in before you cook it.

But this recipe is a keeper! Thank you http://www.tablefortwoblog.com!

Copycat Chick-fil-A Sandwich Recipe Review

copycat chic-fil-a sandwich, homemade chick-fil-a sandwich, chick-fil-a copycat

I love finding recipes online that look delicious! I usually find them through Pinterest and so I just Pin them to my Recipes board to try later. You can find this board on my Pinterest page.

I pinned this recipe a few weeks back:

and finally got around to trying it out. The recipe calls for pickle juice to marinate the chicken in...and I hate to admit it, but I had to call my mom from the grocery store and ask her if they sell pickle juice or if you have to buy a jar of pickles and take out the pickles to use the juice. Am I the only one who would have thought they sell pickle juice by itself?! My mom thought it was a great question :)
But I ended up getting a jar of pickles and throwing them out (my husband and I HATE pickles).

The recipe turned out great though! I would personally marinate the chicken for less time than the recipe calls for, but that's just because we don't love the taste of pickles. But Chick-fil-A sandwiches have that taste, and we always thought it was because the sandwiches came with pickles on them. Maybe they marinate their chicken in pickle juice first! Who knows. I used vegetable oil instead of peanut oil for the frying just because that is all I had at the time. But they actually tasted just like the restaurant's sandwiches. Delicious! I was impressed with the recipe and my cooking for getting them to turn out correctly.

I will be cooking these in the future and printed out the recipe to use again.
